Why did you decide to become an OT?
I was initially working with kiddos with special needs doing in home yoga classes. Eventually I wanted to work with people with disabilities full time and went back to school for OT!
What is your OT superpower?
I would say my OT superpower is my ability to genuinely connect with people, regardless of their background or challenges. I’ve found that being able to show empathy and understanding helps me build trust with my patients and their families. This connection creates an environment where they feel supported, which is essential for effective therapy. My flexibility also allows me to tailor my approach to meet each individual’s needs, which helps me establish a rapport that fosters collaboration and progress in therapy.

I love audiobooks and usually finish 2 or 3 every month. I also love working out and do weightlifting, sauna workouts and yoga! Lastly, I also enjoy exploring different farmers markets in my local neighborhood and the greater Atlanta area.
What do you love about TeamUp Therapy?
What I love about Team Up Therapy is how they focus on family-centered care, helping parents play an active role in their child’s therapy. The tele-health model is a big plus too—it makes therapy more convenient by eliminating the need for travel and allowing sessions to take place in the child’s natural environment. I’m also excited about the personalized approach, as I believe every child’s therapy plan should be tailored to their unique needs. I’m really looking forward to being part of a team that values accessibility, flexibility, and working closely with families to make a real difference.

Why did you decide to become an OT?
I decided to become an occupational therapist after my nephew suffered an anoxic brain injury at birth. I quickly accompanied my sister and nephew to therapy services and saw how extensive occupational therapy could be with the difference that was being made. I love that with occupational therapy that we can form a long lasting relationship with both the children that we serve and assisting families.
What is your OT superpower?
I pride myself on my ability to create an easy and comfortable rapport with both parents and children that work with me. As an occupational therapist one of the most important aspects of my job is listening. I feel that too often parents are overlooked during traditional medical evaluations and when they have contact with me I am able to validate feelings and concerns that they may have as well as educating them about how to support their child more effectively. I’m an empathetic and emotionally attuned individual with a strong creative drive and a deep passion for connecting with people. Known for being a thoughtful listener and a supportive presence, I thrive in environments where understanding others and bringing ideas to life go hand in hand. Whether collaborating on projects or offering a compassionate ear, I bring both heart and determination to everything I do.

Why did you decide to become an OT?
I became an occupational therapist because I’ve always been drawn to helping others in meaningful, practical ways—and I deeply value the platinum rule: treating others how they wish to be treated. Early intervention, in particular, felt like a natural fit for me. I love working alongside families during such a foundational time in their child’s life, helping them build skills and routines that bring more ease, confidence, and connection to their everyday experiences. I’m a creative and empathetic problem-solver, and I find joy in collaborating with caregivers to find individualized, realistic strategies that make a real difference in a child’s growth and participation.
What is your OT superpower?
My OT superpower is my ability to recognize the unique strengths of each child and family, and to turn everyday routines into opportunities for growth and connection. I specialize in meeting families where they are—emotionally, culturally, and practically—and creating individualized, evidence-based strategies that truly fit into their lives. I bring a calm, creative presence and a deep respect for each family’s values, helping them feel confident, supported, and empowered as they navigate their child’s development.
What do you like to do for fun?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two fur babies. My hobbies include playing board, card, and video games, riding motorcycles, and exploring unique places and events in my community. I also love traveling and I am always looking forward to my next adventure!
What do you love about TeamUp Therapy?
What I love about this company is how genuinely welcomed and valued I’ve felt from the very beginning. Even before my official start, I felt connected to the leadership team and knew this was a place where I could truly belong. As I went through the onboarding process, I fell in love—every detail reflected thoughtfulness, transparency, and deep care for both the families we serve and the staff who make it all happen. It’s rare to find a company so aligned with your own values, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a team that leads with heart.
Areas of interest:
My primary area of interest is early intervention. I also enjoy helping children build handwriting and other coordination skills. While not my top area of interest, I have extensive experience and strong skills in sensory regulation and feeding support. I also appreciate opportunities to work with children with physical disabilities and would welcome more experience in that area.
